The CS12 is a small block Chevy conversion header for V8 engine swaps in two wheel drive (2WD) Chevrolet S-10 truck and Blazer (incluidng GMC S-15) applications. The CS12 is a very compact header design that fits cleanly between the engine and frame rail. This is NOT a fenderwell exit header! The CS12 features a 1-5/8" primary tube and 3" collector for applications making more power than the standard CS11 header can handle. There is also a 1-3/4" version available, part #CS13. The CS12 header works with virtually all engine swap kits. For LS1 engine swaps, please use the #CSLS1 header set. WARNING: The vehicle's steering shaft will run between the engine block and header on this application. The use of solid motor mounts, engine plates, or the installation of a torque limiter is strongly recommended to prevent the engine from shifting would may cause the steering to bind. Comes with all hardware necessary for installation. Features a 16-gauge primary and collector tube thickness with a 3/8" thick flange and a patented flange design requires NO gaskets. Copper Collector Gaskets are recommended for all Sanderson headers. Sanderson Headers do not include collector bolts due to our customers' wide range of preference. We do offer a collector bolt set that features Grade 8 Bolts with Locking Nuts. This header offers 1 " primary tubes, which is good for about 350HP on a casually used engine application.
