Tailgate hinges are used at the base of the tailgate for opening and closing. They bolt to the bed side and have a cylindrical part that fits into the tailgate allowing it to rotate. Polished hinges are shiny, giving them a "chrome" look. Sold as a pair. Requires two 5/16" X 3/4" indented hex head bolts for installation. These are included with the rear cross sill hardware kit or can be purchased separately. Steel hinge shown.
