1948-49 Chevrolet Center Cross Sill w/ Holes (8 Bed Strip) Photo Main

Weighs 1.000lbs.

This heavy gage steel part made by MAR-K is mounted across the frame under the wood for support. Bolt holes in the cross sill determine the placement of the bed strips and wood. The bed strips and bed side angles are bolted to the cross sill and the wood is bolted to the frame through the cross sill by the bed-to-frame bolts. Cross sill is sold with holes and includes brackets. Bed mounting blocks sold separately. Two center cross sills are required per truck. If you are using the original style gas tank mounted under the bed near the front, the second cross sill will have to be trimmed to fit over the gas tank. Made in Oklahoma City, USA.

This part fits most 1948 1949 Chevy Trucks; exceptions may apply. Please read the complete description to see if this part fits your specific vehicle and application.
